I started going to shows when I was only 16 or 17 years old in my home town of Cleveland, Ohio and quickly discovered a magical and visionary world of local and touring underground bands. I finally met other weirdos and outsiders like myself, so close to home. It was there that I met Sean Carnage, another kindred spirit and life-long soldier of underground art and culture. He has an amazing blog that documents his adventures, including a section about Cleveland shows and, of course, the legendary and tragically closed club Speak in Tongues.
